This is a wonderful festival with amazing heart. The festival director, Sandie De Freitas does a marvelous, hands-on, job of navigating the difficulties of managing all aspects of the festival in the midst of changing venue availability, etc. The other films were wonderful, and the mission of the festival--Making A Difference--is evident in each. I will definitely submit again.
On behalf of CESO ENTERPRISES, INC., Alyssa Dann, Chris Oledude, and all of our production participants, I would like to compliment the organizers and operators of Commffest Global Community Film Festival. When we created our first music video (which was long enough to be a short film), we knew nothing about film festivals. With the help of FilmFreeway, we started researching. The categories were good. Everyone who contacted us on behalf of this festival was helpful. The submissions looked excellent.
The crew of our movie Look In My Eyes were all 1st time actors, writer, director, producer and cinematographer. Obviously we were thrilled that COMMffest FF selected our movie for screening. We were all inspired to do more. The Q&A afterwards was attended by the movie’s Director Perry Dell A’Quilla and myself. The Program Host Ann Marie McDougall had researched our movie and asked meaningful questions. We were made better after that experience.
