The Commffest Intergenerational Storytelling Workshops in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso are a community-based filmmaking and cultural preservation initiative designed to bring young people and older generations together through storytelling, filmmaking and digital media.

The workshops provide young participants with practical skills to document the experiences, knowledge, traditions and personal histories of parents, grandparents, elders and other members of their communities. Rather than simply teaching filmmaking, the program uses film as a tool for education, cultural preservation, intergenerational dialogue and community empowerment. The program is a bilingual project designed to empower and give opportunities  to French speaking particpants
